BioMedical Emporium Wound Occlusive

For after peels and micro-needling treatments: Apply in the evening 24 hours after micro-needling and/or peels. Apply every evening for 3-5 days. (see Peptide Therapy & Wound Occlusive Combo). 

IT CAN BE USED IN INFECTED, ACUTE, INFLAMED WOUNDS, ACUTE SCARRING AND SKIN DISORDERS WHICH INCLUDES URTICARIA, SKIN ALLERGIES, DERMATITIS, AND PSORIASIS. IT CAN ALSO BE UTILIZED WHEN DEALING WITH BURNS AND BLISTERS. 2-3MM OF WOUND OCCLUSIVE SHOULD BE APPLIED TO AFFECTED AREA, WHERE AFTER THE WOUND IS CLOSED WITH SECONDARY DRESSING FOR 24H. 

Treatment Protocols:

• The following steps can be followed when using Wound Occlusive, deviations in the standard protocol will be indicated: 
• The wound should be properly cleaned by using normal saline, or other agents if indicated by the health care professional. 
• Apply the Wound Occlusive as a thick paste to the wound bed. 
• Use Gauze Dressing as a primary wound contact layer. Gauze Dressing may be substituted when appropriate with absorbent dressings (example, silver alginate). 
• Secure the wound with crepe bandage for a minimum period of 48 hours. 
• If no patient discomfort is observed, the period can be extended to 72 hours. 
• It is not necessary to use other ointments or creams in conjunction with Wound Occlusive, due to the antimicrobial effect of honey, the main ingredient in this preparation.
