Biodroga Glycolic Acid (20% 35% 50% ) – Expert Acid Peel  – This is a professional-grade exfoliation treatment suitable for all skin types, especially mature skin. This Acid peel helps reduce wrinkles, improves skin elasticity, and brightens the complexion, leaving your skin feeling smoother and more radiant. For optimal results, it’s recommended to use this treatment in a series of 5-6 sessions.

Application of Biodroga Glycolic Acid (20% 35% 50% ) – Expert Acid Peel 

  1. Mix up to three acids in equal parts (6ml total).
  2. Apply the mixture evenly to the face. If treating the neck and décolleté, use an additional 6ml.
  3. Leave the Acid peel on for the recommended time, then rinse with water.
  4. Apply 1-2ml of Acid peel Neutralizer for 30 seconds, then remove.
  5. Follow up with your usual skincare routine, including SPF protection.

Homecare Routine:

Before Treatment (2 Weeks):

  • Cleanse, tone, and moisturize your skin daily.
  • Use SPF 30 or 50 to protect from UV rays.
  • Exfoliate every other night with the MD Skin Refining Peeling to prepare the skin.

During Treatment (8-10 Weeks):

  • Continue a gentle skincare routine, without additional exfoliation.
  • Apply SPF 50 every day to shield your skin from the sun.

After Treatment (Follow-Up Phase):

  • Maintain the same routine from the cure phase for 2 weeks.
  • Introduce 5% AHA Serum every night starting from week 3.
  • From week 4, consider using specialized serums (Retinol, Peptides, or Anti-Pigment Serum) based on your skin’s needs.

Glycolic Acid is the AHA acid classic. It is found in unripe grapes, in sugar cane juice, in sugar beets, in the leaves of wild wine and in rosemary. It is the proven gold standard among acid peelings. It is the smallest AHA acid and can therefore penetrate well into the skin. As a veritable all-round talent, it can be used depending on concentration and pH value for various skin patterns – from sensitive skin to skin prone to impurities tomature, demanding skin.

 

It is recommended that you sell in a package of 5-6 treatments for best results.  Treatments can be done every 10-14 days.

MIX & MATCH COMBINATIONS FOR GLYCOLIC ACID

IMPURITIES – 2ml Salicylic Acid + 2ml Glycolic Acid 20% – 50% + 2ml Mandelic Acid 20%.

REDNESS & COUPEROSE – 2ml. Mandelic Acid 20%, 2ml. Glycolic 20% and 2ml. Lactobionic Acid 20%.

MATURE SKIN, WRINKLES & LOSS OF ELASTICITY – 2ml Phytic Acid 10% + 2ml Glycolic Acid 35% – 50% + 2ml Mandelic Acid 20%.

PIGMENTATION SPOTS – 3ml Mandelic Acid 20% + 3ml Glycolic Acid 35% – 50%.

LEATHERY, RIGID SKIN – 6ml Glycolic Acid 35% – 50%.

DIRECTIONS – A 6ml (6 pumps) recipe of one to three expert acids, mixed (not layered) in equal parts.   You use a total of 6ml (6 pumps) for the face (equally divided amongst the acids). If you want to include the neck and decollete you would use an additional 6ml (6 pumps) for those areas. You remove with water and then apply 1-2ml (1-2 pumps) Neutralizer for 30 seconds.  Remove Neutralizer.  Microneedling, with appropriate serum, can be done after acid neutralizer is removed.

For Example:

  • If you use one acid you would use 6ml (6 pumps) for the face.
  • If you use 2 acids you would use 3ml (3 pumps) of the first  acid + 3ml (pumps) of the second acid for the face.
  • If you use 3 acids you would use 2ml (2 pumpts) of the first acid + 2ml (2 pumps) of second acid + 2ml (2 pumps) of third acid for the face.

If you want to include the neck and decollete you would use an additional 6ml for those areas.

HOMECARE RECOMMENDATIONS:

PREPARATION PHASE (for 2 weeks before acid peels)

Skin-specific cleansing

  • For more treatment of wrinkles and loss of elasticity from the 4th week after the cure phase, alternatively use the 1% retinol serum every 3rd evening.
  • SPF 50 during the day.

  • Use your skin specific Cleanser, Toner, Serum, Moisturizer.
  • Use SPF 30 or SPF 50 or CC/DD Cream (if use CC/DD cream do not need moisturizer with it).
  • Use MD Skin Refining Peeling every other night.

HOMECARE DURING CURE PHASE (acid treatment phase) – DURING ACID TREATMENTS

  • Use your skin specific Cleanser, Toner, Serum, Moisturizer.
  • Use SPF 30 or SPF 50 or CC/DD Cream (if use CC/DD cream do not need moisturizer with it).

HOMECARE FOLLOW-UP PHASE – AFTER TREATMENTS ARE DONE

  • Use your skin specific Cleanser, Toner, Serum, Cream
  • 1st and 2nd weeks, use SPF 30, SPF 50, Sun Drops 50 or CC/DD Cream (if use CC/DD cream do not need moisturizer with it).
  • Starting the 3rd week use MD 5% AHA Serum (apply every night on a clean skin, leave on, then apply night care). Use the moisturizer that is right for the skin condition plus always use sunscreen during the day.
  • From the 4th week after the treatments, you can choose from the following serums for additional treatment, depending on skin need. Use the moisturizer that is right for the skin condition plus always use sunscreen during the day.

Treatment for aging skin – This recommendation is depending on the skin condition of aging.

  1. First lines and wrinkles (anti-age beginners):  5% Peptide Serum in the morning + 5% AHA Serum in the evening.  Use the moisturizer that is right for the skin condition or skin type plus always use sunscreen during the day.
  2. Lines, wrinkles, contour loss…(advanced skin aging): 5% Peptide Serum  in the morning and evening + every 3rd evening, instead of 5% Peptide Serum in the evening use 1% Retinol Serum). Use the moisturizer that is right for the skin condition or skin type plus always use sunscreen during the day.

Treatment for impure skin – use CBD Serum + Hyaluronic Acid Gel morning, use the layering method.  In the evening use Skin Resurfacing Acid for impure skin.  If skin irritated you can also use CBD Serum. Use the moisturizer that is right for the skin condition or skin type plus always use sunscreen during the day.

Treatment for skin that tends to redness: CBD Serum + Rosa Calming Serum.  Use one in the morning and the other in the evening – or use the layering method. Use the moisturizer that is right for the skin condition or skin type plus always use sunscreen during the day.

Treatment for pigmentation – Anti-pigment serum in the morning + 5% AHA Serum in the evening. Use the moisturizer that is right for the skin condition or skin type plus always use sunscreen during the day.
